$38.65
Choose One

Study for your National Counselor Exam using visual illustrations, mnemonics, and humor to engage your whole brain in an interactive memory-boosting study experience. Through handwriting, coloring, and drawing, this activity book can help involve more parts of the brain in the learning process, which researchers know leads to better recall.

Please note: this resource was prepared for visual learners who already have a basic awareness of core counseling concepts. I  believe it will be a valuable tool for many test takers, particularly neurodivergent individuals or ADHD-diagnosed learners, who struggle with traditional test prep materials.

WHO IT'S FOR

I designed this guide for counseling students and NCE test-takers, especially visual and neurodivergent learners who struggle to retain information from traditional textbooks, outlines, and flashcards.

HOW TO USE IT

Because this is a creative work based on my own engagement with the test material, this book is an incomplete study resource. It should not be used as your only tool for test prep.

I recommend using this resource paired with online test prep app and traditional study materials. Use of this study guide does not guarantee a passing score.

What's Inside

Inside my study guide you'll review the key information you need to know to pass the National Counselor Exam.

Review concepts through play, humor, and mnemonics as you review material through visual notes, coloring pages, and fill in the blank activities.

A last-minute-review section offers a unique last-minute study method designed to wring a few extra points out of information you know but might struggle to recall during the exam.

Rewriting Study Rules

When I completed my masters degree in Counseling Psychology and was ready to take the NCE, I diligently ordered all the recommended study guides, cracked open the books to study, and... panicked.

Traditional study materials didn't work for me, and there weren't alternatives- so I made one. Since I made my NCE visual study guide, hundreds of people have used it to study for and pass the NCE.

Curious if it's the right investment in your journey to passing the NCE? Check out the reviews:

Meet the Creator

I made this study guide for people like me: folks who learn a little differently and recall visually. I love that it increases accessibility for learners with ADHD, Autism, and other neurodivergences.
