DBT Activity Book | A Visual DBT Workbook-Alternative for Playful, Neurodiverse, and Tactile Learners by Lindsay Braman

$37.50

The DBT Activity Book introduces Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills using a visual, interactive approach made for adults and teens. It's specifically designed for neurodivergent people, visual learners, and anyone who learns best through seeing and doing rather than reading.

Instead of clinical looking worksheets- this book uses doodle-style sketchnotes, illustrated flowcharts, puzzles, games, coloring pages, and tear-out activities to make DBT concepts easier to grasp and easier to recall.

Read more about the theory and research behind the creation of the DBT Activity Book.

THE UN-WORKBOOK

There are lots of good DBT workbooks out there- but workbooks don't work for everyone. I made the DBT workbook especially for adults and teens who struggle with dense text or clinical worksheets. It's perfect for visual, neurodiverse, and hands-on learners.

CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE

Chronological workbooks, where one activity must be preceded by another, can be a roadblock for some learners. In the DBT Activity Book each activity stands on its own. Flip through and complete on your own journey or pull individual activities for use in therapy homework, DBT groups, or self-study.

PERSONAL OR PROFESSIONAL USE

Yes! With purchase of my DBT Activity Book you may photocopy pages and use them in your professional work with clients you work with directly, including DBT groups you lead.

Who It's For

Marsha Linehan integrated her personal experience with her professional training to create DBT for people who needed a different kind of care.

In that same spirit, my DBT Activity Book aims to bridge another gap: delivering more accessible DBT education for teen and adult visual learners, neurodivergent individuals, and anyone who struggles with clinical-looking materials.

But, real talk, it's not right for everyone. Here's a little more info on how to know if it's the right resource for you or your clients.

“I received my book yesterday and WOW – it is amazing. I was looking forward to it arriving and it exceeded my high hopes.” – Colleen A.
