About the Illustration: The Emotion Sensation Feeling Wheel by Lindsay Braman is an adaptation of the "feelings wheel" that many therapists and educators use to help people learn to better recognize and name their emotions. My take is a little different: the outer circle of this feeling wheel swaps emotion names for descriptions of the physical sensations that often accompany feeling that feeling.

Suggested Uses: Human experience is diverse, and this should not be used as a scientific measure or evaluation tool. Rather, it's meant as a conversation starter and a visual tool to help clients and students make connections in understanding how their unique body-sensations and emotions are connected.
